Happy Bird-day!

In July we finally got around to having Lyndon’s birthday party.  He wanted to have an Angry Birds party.  At the time there was nothing around for an Angry Birds theme so we had to do some improvising.

We ate pigs in a blanket, green punch, fruit (with green grapes), “chirps and cheese”, and deviled eggs.It was a hit:

We also played relay races (like balancing an egg on a spoon, etc.) and opened presents.

We did a craft where we made bird feeders to take home with pinecones, peanut butter, and birdseed.

We also set up a big wall with cardboard boxes and green balloons and knocked it down by kicking a red kickball at it.
