In December Lyndon advanced in American Karate to a yellow belt. Unfortunately, all I had to take pictures with was my phone. :(
He has really been enjoying karate but most of the tournaments are on a Sunday. He has made the decision to keep the Sabbath Day holy and because of that he can only advance once a year. The only Saturday held tournament is on Mother’s Day weekend. It was frustrating to watch kids come and go so after talking to his coach he made an exception and with a couple other LDS boys, they were able to hold their own mini-tournament in December.
Way to go!
