Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo

Last month we took the kids to the Houston Rodeo. It was actually a chilly and rainy day. We didn't do any of the fair outside except to eat lunch when we first got there. It was at the Reliant Stadium, which is HUGE. All the vendors, more food, livestock shows, petting zoos and kids things were luckily inside.

The kids got to ride some horses, sadly for the first time. We saw lots of animals. The Petting Zoo had some unusual animals in it.

We went to the Rodeo in the afternoon and the kids enjoyed that. We also went the night of Brooks and Dunn's last tour. I wasn't sure how the kids would do because by then it was getting late. After some pizza, they were good to go. The danced almost the whole time.

They both fell asleep in the stroller on the way out to the buses. Good thing because we were in a line (outside in the cold) waiting FOREVER. We will just park closer and walk next time!

It was a lot of fun and I want to go next year. Maybe we will go on a day where we can also enjoy the fair outside!
