San Jacinto Battle

We went to the reenactment of The San Jacinto Advance in April. They even had the Twin Sisters there... thus the picture of Charlotte covering her ears. They also had booths, food, and petting zoos all set up for afterwards. Just how Sam Houston dreamed it would be one day. It was good to brush up a little on my Texas Revolution history.

Clint's parents and sister were in town for Clint's birthday/Memorial Day and his Dad mentioned he was reading a book about Texas history and wondered how far away the San Jacinto Battlefield was. Clint knew just where to take him!
