Before & After

Here are some pictures of the updates we did on our old house in Dallas before we sold it.

In the front - we ripped out all the hedges and replanted flowers. We painted the terra cotta shutters and doors black, along with freshening up the railing with black paint as well.
In the front entryway - we knocked out the spindles, painted, front doorknob hardware and changed light fixture.
In the living room - we replaced the sliding doors with french doors and replaced the lovely light fixture.
In the kitchen - we painted, changed the faucet and light fixture.
In the guest bath - we painted, changed faucets (sink and shower) and all hardware (TP holder, towel racks, etc), knobs, refinished tile and counter.
In the master bath - we painted, changed faucets (sink and shower) and handles, hardware and knobs. We replaced shower door and refinished the cultured marble countertop. Don't worry, we also removed the handicap bar out of the shower.
In the kids bath - we ripped out the overhead soffit and moved lights onto the wall, replaced light fixtures, mirror, knobs, hardware, faucets, and had the tub surround and counter refinished. Clint texured the walls too.
We also replaced all the doorknobs in the entire house, all the fans and light fixtures (including little ones in closets and hallways), painted in the back entryway, and pulled out hedges in back and replanted shrubs. I'm sure we did more to but my mind has blanked. Now you understand why we have been busy for months!
We get to do this all over again now in our new home, not quite as much though. Clint has already replaced the lights in the kids rooms with fans and put up new chandeliers in the dining room and kitchen. It begins.
