Dallas Trip

As I mentioned in my previous post, we went to Dallas in June, over Father’s Day weekend.  We went for Clint’s friend’s wedding but made a weekend family trip out of it.

One of the things that we did was take the kids to see the Dallas Temple (Ashtyn was asleep).

This is a picture of the kids the last time we took them to the Dallas Temple (when we lived nearby):

Crazy, huh?

Let’s look at that again:

Since it was close to Lyndon’s birthday we took a trip to Lego Land inside the Grapevine Mall. It was smaller than I thought but pretty neat.

They had an area where you build cars and raced them down different tracks.  He spent a long time there.011 012

They had a bigger race track the older kids enjoyed as well.017 019

They had popular Dallas building and attractions built out of Legos.  It was really cool.  They had lights and moving parts.020

After Lego Land we took Lyndon to the Rainforest Cafe for dinner and ordered him a volcano cake. That was the highlight of the evening.  It came to the table with sparklers in it and he stood on the chair leading music while they sang to him.022
