Despite our most recent efforts to go green (which are evidenced by the brand-new, blue, private, recycling trash bin that sits beside our brand-old, gray, private, non-recycling trash bin in our alleyway and our new higher water bill that resulted from new copious amounts of water used in washing out would-be trash before depositing the same in our new recycling bin), Lyndon and I had to do physical violence to the ozone-producing forrestation, otherwise called our lawn, outside our house this past weekend.
We were pretending to be, as Lyndon would call it, "hard-working worker men" by attempting to reduce the heighth of our grass to a more manageable level via our lawn mowers. Okay, so we weren't pretending; it really was hard work!
Don't believe me? Try mowing two-weeks worth of growth in Dallas after two weeks worth of cooler temperatures and decent levels of precipitation.
Anyway, while we were out there gittin' 'er done, our neighbor came out and snapped some pictures of us and e-mailed us the results. We make a pretty good-lookin' lawn-mowin' crew wouldn't you say?

Hard work or not we'd love to have green grass instead of "desert landscaping" which just means raked rocks and a very tolerant plant. But it is a very cute hard working worker man picture.
