The kids loaded up on candy this year! My mom sent a package in the mail with plastic eggs full of candy, rubber lizards and plastic necklaces. Clint's Mom sent a package with a new outfit for each of the kids and a bag of chocolates. Clint also decided on Friday night that they needed easter baskets in the morning (something I argue about every year) and so he went out to the store to buy baskets, MORE candy and plastic eggs. We also dyed easter eggs on Monday night. Almost every day Lyndon hides plastic eggs for me to find in the living room. We had an easter dinner on Sunday with just us with fish and honeycomb (okay, so we had stuffed salmon, rolls with honey and potato casserole).I don't think Lyndon fully understands what Easter is about. We've tried explaining it all week but he just gets confused. I'm already prepared for activities next year to lead up to the event to help them better understand. Thank you everyone who sent me ideas!

Sounds like a fun weekend! The best thing about having candy around is how hard the kids crash after a sugar high! Love it!
He still has Big bird?! That's awesome! He's got good use out of that! :) Makes me happy.
