Prehistoric Lore

Being the good parents that we are, we took out the 120-grit sand paper last week and started sanding down our children. Before you call Children's Protective Services on our posteriors, please realize that it was our best effort to make them well-rounded individuals. Did I mention that the sand used in our sand paper was of the prehistoric variety?

The Science Spectrum here in Lubbock, of which we are members, hosted a free "member's only" night to kick off its new dinosaur exhibit: "Bigger Than T-Rex." We thought it appropriate, in light of Lyndon's new fetish for all things dinosaur, to take advantage of the opportunity to expose our kids to some prehistoric lore and do so in forma pauperis, i.e., without cost. (What good is a legal lexicon if you can't use it occassionally?)
Once Lyndon pulled his fingers out of his ears (he didn't care for the dinorsaur sounds being played over the loud speakers), he had a roaring good time. He got to dig for dinosaur bones, manipulate robotic dinosaurs, see all manner of behemoth, make a mask, and consume cookies and punch to his heart's content.
We had a great time - it was everything our little man had it cracked up
to be.
